I want to setup a webpage

IDL no longer includes Free FTP space with our Internet access accounts. You can purchase a hosting package by contacting our sales team.

You will need to use FTP software to upload your site. We recommend using Cute-FTP, Coffee Cup FTP, or WS_FTP. These are available from IDL’s Tucows Mirror. 

Please note: the following terms and conditions must be adhered to when using your FTP space.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Having a private homepage is a free service for IDL's customers. We generally allow up to 3meg storage for your page and require you to follow and consider the below information very seriously.

IDL at its own discretion will delete your webpage without notice and may decide to bar you from our homepage service and even cancel your account depending on the reason for removing it.

The following points are considered very unacceptable and your webpage MUST NOT CONTAIN this kind of information. Some of these may even be punishable by LAW !

1. Pornography. We consider anything that is not G rated to be pornography.
2. Copyrighted Software (warez). YOU must abide by the license agreements created regarding to the particular program.
3. Copyrighted Music or Video (mp3, mpeg). This refers to un-authorized recordings of videos and music.
4. Heavy Traffic. Lots of people accessing your page. IDL will decide this at its own discretion
